PADI Scuba Diver Course
PADI Scuba Diver Course
Short on time? The PADI Scuba Diver course might just be for you. This course requires less time than the PADI Open Water Diver course. It covers the first 3 of 5 confined water dives, the first 2 of 4 open water training dives, and the first 3 of 5 sections of knowledge development.
To enroll in a PADI Scuba Diver course (or Junior Scuba Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.

PADI Open Water Course
PADI Open Water Diver Course
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba course. It consists of knowledge development (to help you understand the basic principles of scuba diving), 5 confined water dives (to learn basic scuba skills), and 4 open water dives (to review your skills and explore). After completing these three phases, you will be a certified PADI Open Water Diver. To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

PADI Advanced Open Water
PADI Advanced Open Water Course
Exploration, Excitement, Experiences. They’re what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course.
You will improve your skills by completing five adventure dives. The must do 2 compulsory dives, Underwater Navigation & Deep Dive. You then choose 3 elective dives, for example: Wreck Dive, Drift Dive, Underwater Naturalist, Night Dive, or Peak Performance Buoyancy.
PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old are ready to step up and enroll in an Advanced Open Water Diver course.

PADI Rescue Course + EFR
PADI Rescue Diver Course + EFR
The PADI Rescue Dive Course is challenging and rewarding. You building upon your previous dive experience, and learn not only how to prevent problems but learn how to manage them if they occur. You will learn self rescue, recognising & managing fellow divers’ stress, emergency management, and how to rescue panicked or unresponsive divers
You also need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. You can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course. PADI (Junior) Advanced Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old and have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive may enroll in a Rescue Diver course.

PADI Dive Master
PADI Dive Master Course
Want to work with scuba as a career? Then PADI Dive Master training is your first step. This program will expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Dive Master training develops your leadership abilities and qualifies you to supervise dives and assist instructors with student divers. The PADI Divemaster is a necessary certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications. PADI Rescue Divers who are at least 18 years old may enroll in the PADI Dive master course. You also need to have:
- Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.
- A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
- At least 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to earn certification. Note that qualifying certifications from other diver training organization may apply – ask your PADI Instructor.
- Requirements: PADI Rescue Diver certification, Emergency First Response training, medical statement, and at least 40 logged dives.

PADI Specialty Courses
At Red Sea Dive Centre, we offer a range of PADI Specialty Courses.
The lure of the deep. There’s something exciting and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites while scuba diving. Sometimes it’s a wreck that attracts you below 18 meters/60 feet, and on wall dives it may be a giant fan or sponge. Whatever it is, to scuba dive with confidence at depths down to 40 meters/130 feet, you should take the PADI Deep Diver Specialty course.
If you’ve earned the PADI Adventure Diver rating or higher, and you’re at least 15 years old, you can enroll in the Deep Diver course.

If you’ve ever lost something in the water and wanted to go find it, then the PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course is for you. There are effective ways to search for objects underwater that increase your chances of success. And there are good and better methods to bring up small, large or just awkward items. Search and recovery can be challenging, but a whole lot of fun.
PADI (Junior) Advanced Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old can enroll in the Search and Recover Diver course. PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers with a PADI Underwater Navigator certification also qualify.

The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course is popular because it offers rewarding adventures while observing responsible wreck diving practices.
If you’re at least 15 years old and have earned a PADI Adventure Diver certification or higher, you can enroll in the Wreck Diver Specialty course.
